My husband and I moved here with the military in august. We lived here for 5 days and broke our lease due to my car getting broken into. One of my credit cards was stolen which was maxed out. We had to pay about 3 thousand in total to get out of a 5 day lease. I had to sign papers stating i was not involved with any kind of drug activity which was strange but i thought it was just their policy. I should have known better. The police officer who came to take my statement let me know to get out of that area as soon as possible due to it being very dangerous to live there. I had no idea . The staff never once called to see what happened. They never once asked why we were breaking the lease after five days. They were glad to rob us with a smile on their faces. I signed the lease before looking at the apartment which was so stupid on my end but after a 20 hour drive i just wanted to lay my head down. The apartment was dirty, had dead roaches and the cabinets were barely holding on. The bath tub was also never repaired from the base which was broken and the ceiling was soft in an area that looked like water damage. I asked repeatedly that week if they would repair it , by the time i finalized paying the lease off which was oct 1 nothing was still fixed in there. I went back several times to check on the apartment and none of the things on the list were fixed. It breaks my heart that people would do anything to get you to sign for something they wouldn't live in themselves. One of the staff was a military wife herself, which was even worse for me. I trusted this staff when i called to set this all up from Texas. I thought the south was known for being kind. I was so wrong. I learned my lesson. We had to take out an aer to pay them off . 5 days for 3 grand for a newly married couple trying to get on their feet put us in so much debt. Mind you they made us keep the water and electric on while we didnt live there and those fees and costs were insane we paid 100$ for an apartment we didnt live in on electric and 90$ for water which makes no sense to me. If you turn any of those off it is considered abandoning the apartment. That was my welcome to fort benning . Move on post its the nicest place to live out here. MILITARY FAMILIES PLEASE DONT FALL FOR THE CHEAP RENT YOU WILL PAY FOR IT IN THE END . I have met so many people that broke their lease there due to violence in this complex. I have never had to break a lease. Worst experience ever.
ants and gnats around, insect gallore. A lizard almost got in the unit and they change colors. You get the point. All of these units has or had roof leaks and mold. Watch yo back for those down low snitches cause you will get told on about petty situations. The people that be walking their dogs usually be the main ones low key snitching. Don't get tricked into moving here because you will regret it your first week if you are from the street, talking bout stop, look, lease; it should be stop behind these school buses, look over miceleaf apartments, and lease a complex that are family oriented and kid friendly. Every body deserves a clean, fit, safe and stable place to stay. No playground on the property for the kids, no fitness center, no tenant lounge to get a little coffee, how boring. You better off moving to a senior citizens complex. The tenants deserve better for the price the rent is. Don't forget the water bill, you gotta pay that too. You will get a notice about that, how petty. The water is included in the rent in most apartment complexes. Don't fall into that trap, leave that to the mice. LOL. If you want misery and bad luck during your stay here, then try cloverleaf out and see for yourself. You better get wit it folk and roll wit something better and call it home, than to have alot of confusion and animosity while you are renting and living. Just so you know, in the summertime, your light bill will be sky high because in the townhomes, the air don't blow that much air up stairs. Its very cold down stairs and hot up stairs. You have to set it on 50 degrees in order to get it cool upstairs. Your light bill will be around $400 - $500 a month if you do it that way. You have to purchase a window a/c, for the upstairs bedrooms, the management will not buy one for you. The pictures that you see on facebook is bait on the line, ready to reel you in. Everything that glitters aint gold. My daddy told me that and he is so true. Rent nowadays is way too high to not enjoy your home. They need to cut it. Real talk cuz.
Cloverleaf are the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. The woman name victoria who works at the front desk is very rude. I couldn’t wait until my lease was up. My car was broken into twice, I was only there for a month when I seen a mice run through the apartment that I resided in. The maintenance crew is very lazy, sloppy and they always did an half ass job. The dish washer had mold on the side of it and the ceiling would leak. I called and reported both incidents and they didn’t send anyone out. PLEASE DID NOT MOVE INTO CLOVERLEAF THEY ARE HORRIBLE AND A WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!!!
I visited my cousin over here and noticed alot of brown water spots on the ceiling. The paint look cheap. I heard through the grapevine that they don't fix the ceiling/roof, they just paint over it. (Trying to make it look brand new). They ought to be ashamed. We had a moment of silence in the living room and all of a sudden a unexpected visitor was scratching and knocking, it came from somewhere. A couple of minutes later, that visitor has made his presence known, a furry fat black
Rat city, mold city, backstabbing. Management and the so called handy men will come when they want to come to fix everything. The management don't care bout their tenants and their well being. Mice traveling from unit to unit, spiders and roaches everywhere,
You will get charge so much staff very rude after paying for pest control left with bed bugs for 2 month..... mold in the bathroom for months ppl breaking into apartments how is kinda funnt when you lock your doors makes mad........
