Doctor Chandra has the worst bed side manner. She also schedules appointments to see her on days she "is in office" and you end up seeing a nurse practitioner. They seem to be only in it for copays. My daughter had to see them every month for a visit just for a prescription that could have been written for more than one month. I paid a copay just to get a prescription after waiting almost 2 hours. There was no check up or anything. I had to pay to walk in and get her to call in a prescription for my child. I didn't even have to have a hand written one. Then they say they will call it in. 2 days later you find yourself waiting for a call back to get them to call actually call it in.
I have been a patient of Dr. Carden's for about 20 years. Love him and his staff. If I need to see him urgently, I always manage to get an appointment the same day or the day after. I have never been turned away. His staff is always pleasant!
I trust this man with my life and have for all these years. That includes two heart attacks and all that goes with it. I am alive today because he does know what he's doing and he cares a great deal.
As for Dr. Carden, I never saw him even though I was assigned to him. I saw the nurse practitioner. Again, I was to be seen every 2 weeks to a month to figure out what was going on and for prescription refills. (Getting their copay to see you less than 5 minutes after an almost 2 hr wait) I spent more in copays followjng what should have been well visits than I did on prescriptions. They were just ordinary prescriptions not even close to being anything that could be abused. If you call, it could be days before your call is returned. It took 7 months to figure out I had an infection in my stomach. I found out I was 4 months pregnant after them telling me I was not. I went to the ER thinking something was terribly wrong. I was pregnant the whole time. I am completely satisfied with having changed our doctors. I can honestly say the only rude person that I ever encountered there, was Dr. Chandra.
