Normally I am very pleased with the services at EA Mental Health Center, however, my visit today was the absolute worst! The nurse was very inappropriate, expressing her views on politics and racism in a very offensive manner! The Center should be a safe place for patients who come seeking counsel and help, not a place to be insulted for the color of your skin!! If this is how employees, especially a NURSE, are allowed to treat patients, this is no place for me. It is unprofessional and unacceptable behavior and needs to be addressed immediately!!!
Its actually across from the C.V.C.C and Troy University entrance. These directions are about 2 miles to far.
Awful. The nurse practically questioned my illness and clearly does not know the symptoms of depression. She acted like I was crazy when I told her I had a panic attack that landed me in the hospital and eventually The Bradley Center. And she said verbatim: "you went to the Bradley center over a panic attack???" This is absolutely unacceptable to say to someone who has been battling a mental illness. I'm giving this review because I don't want someone who is suicidal to sit in that same chair and be looked at like they are crazy. I can't believe that woman was a nurse as she had erratic behavior and a very insulting approach. Her name is Nurse Tambra. Make sure to avoid her.
