My daughter asked for two Goddess braids and after she braided them she begin to pile brown gel on her hair... Within one hour it was all caked up in her head. We will never ever go back and had the never to charge $55
If I could give this place negative stars I would. I paid $160 for Senegalese Twists and was totally ripped off. I was told they do good work and that was a lie! The owner tried to charge me $220 and I laughed and said no thank you. Aisha is her American name said two people would work on my hair and it would take five hours, which turned into seven! She was unprofessional, took entirely too many breaks and tried to get me to use cheap, quality hair. The two women worked on my hair a total of 2 hours together. It looked good in the front and I had another client examine the twists I couldn't see and she said it looked good. Three days later I had to spend additional money to have almost the entire back portion of my hair done over from the botched and terrible work they did!!! My natural hair had begun to show through the twists, loose twists around my hairline, uneven twists!!! The shop was old looking and in shabby conditions and I should've left immediately. This place should be shut down and the two unknowing how to braid/twist hair women should be ran outta town and back to Guinea!!!!! DO NOT SPEND YOUR $$$ HERE!!!!!!
The first photo is of what I wanted the other two are what I got for $140
I wish I could give zero stars that place was so nasty and my hair is so ugly ! The lady was so rude to me after I waited so long to even get started on my ugly cornrows!!! They use the same towel on every person I asked them not to touch me with it!!
Please don't waste your money. You will be better off letting your child do it.
I had my hair braided and after being satisfied with the service I scheduled an appointment for my daughter for the following day at 8am. This woman scheduled 6 people for 8 am and then had the nerve to ask me if it was ok for her to stop my daughters hair to begin someone else!!! To which I stated NO. I went two doors down to have my eyebrows arched and when I returned she was braiding someone elses hair!?!?!? Then had the nerve to threaten to call the cops when I said I was leaving. I already told her that if she stopped I would leave. As sad s her situation is, it is not my problem or concern that she did not have anyone else their to help her braid. Talk about a lack of professionalism.
