I've never been into pedicure's before but after using a gift cert at Lux and receiving a great pedi I'm hooked! Staff is very friendly and was even willing to come in early so I could make a Sat morning appointment.
I don't usually submit these reviews. However, I was so shocked by the review posted by James P, I felt compelled to post. I have been a regular customer of Lux Day Spa for a couple of years now and I have never personally experienced or witnessed anything close to what the first reviewer described. The staff have always been friendly and cheerful and made me feel very comfortable. Perhaps your technician was not feeling well or just having a bad day (it happens to us all from time to time)....or perhaps "James P" was having a bad day. I would highly recommend giving them another try. I can assure you, the treatment you described is not the norm there. Let me also add - I frequently give Lux gift certificates to teachers, family and friends - and I always get rave reviews.
I went by there today, Friday to purchase a gift card for my mom's birthday the door is locked so I called the number on the sign but number has been changed. Not sure why bc I've been there before and they're always busy and there's always nothing but good things about them
very upsetting experience. manager does not stand behind employees. had gift certificate which had balance left on it and authorized by employee thought to be manager from previous visit. Communicating with asian owner not easy. will not be back. do not purchase $50.00 gift certificates for 25 because unless you use it all with one time visit, it is not a bargain.
I have been going to Jamie for massages for over 5 years. My massage is always perfect. She has given my husband massages. a couple years ago my sister was here from Atlanta, where she go for massages all the time. I had Jamie give her a massage for her birthday. She said that was the best one she ever had. I work out of state, but always get my massages from Jamie when i am in town.....I can't say enough good things about her....Thanks Jamie for being consistant... Billie Ward, RN
